With 92 million players registered worldwide, the free-to-play MMORPG “MapleStory” is nothing if not a little bit legendary. Thats why, for their 2nd anniversary celebrating their release and quick rise to one million players, “MapleStory” Europe is pulling out all the stops with their anniversary events and the release of the Monster Carnival.

The amount of content being rolled out for the anniversary is staggering. Raising Sprouts, for example, is a 3-week event quest that gives out flowerpots with a sprout with the point being to raise the sprout well. The end of the quest will reward the player with various items based on how well it is raised. The Cake Boss Monster will also be making an appearance once every hour during the event. As well as multiple exclusive items, EXP and item-drops will be doubled during the festivities on specific days for a certain amount of time as yet to be revealed.

The new content being released includes the competition-party quest called the Monster Carnival, which works a little like “Mario Party” where you earn points within the match which can then be spent during the quest for attacking and healing skills, but the winners are determined by the amount of Carnival Points they have at the end.
